From AI FUD to Tesla’s ASS: Hedging Strategies, Chinese Robots, and Much More
We hit on everything from Tesla’s cutting-edge Actual Smart Summon (ASS) technology, to Nvidia’s falling stock price, plus market moves, hedges, and the future of humanoid robots in this no-holds-barred Q&A.
Here's the transcript from today's Live Q&A Chat:
Q. Thoughts on the yield curve disinverting?
A. It's bound to happen at some point. It's probably not a meaningful driver of stock market or economic moves, but it could certainly correlate with a market drop and/or a recession. If only to mess with the pundits who say otherwise.
Q. Feet to the fire how low will the market go and when is the best time to remove hedges?
A. Depends on the time frame. I mean, I would think that at some point in the next three years, maybe sooner than later, we'll have a bear market again. Near-term, I would think that the markets will stabilize here and perhaps even rally into the Fed meeting in two weeks and then top out as the Fed confirms a 0.50% rate cut and then the markets will fall 5-10% in a matter of weeks and then stabilize again and then do a big contrarian rally and then fade to new lows, maybe 10-20% or more lower than the current prices. And then put in a bottom around those levels over the course of a few weeks and months and then, depending on how big The AI Revolution is getting at that point, we might be off the races again.
