Hong Kong | NYC Lunch with TWC subs | No TV appearance tomorrow
NYC is bustling, at least it has been for the eight hours I’ve been here so far. I’ve been learning and listening and already did some speaking with Neil Cavuto on Fox Business too. I spent some time chatting with a couple experts on China/Hong Kong, including survivor of the Tiananmen Square massacre. We talked mostly about Hong Kong, which is something that the market is still ignoring but which is developing into something increasingly more volatile. HK is certainly a potential Black Swan disruptor to my developing theory that the US economy might be about to accelerate. It’s tied into the US China Trade War in many ways also of course.
A couple notes — I won’t be on Maria Bartiromo’s show tomorrow after all.
