Latest Positions: Trillionaires, and Biotech 3.0
Here's part II of our Latest Positions. We're talking AAPL, GOOG, AMZN, and META + TMDX and PFE
First off, be sure and check out Cody on Fox Business with Charles Payne on the 2:00pm ET hour next Wednesday, August 21.
Here is Part 2 of the list of my latest personal portfolio positions and most of the hedge fund positions with updated commentary and ratings for each position.
The ratings for each stock go from 1 to 10, 1 being “Get out of this position now!” and 10 being “Sell the farm, I’ve found a perfect investment.” The positions that are bolded are those that I consider to be “core” holdings and am unlikely to ever sell out of them entirely.
Before we jump into today's latest positions, I want to talk about how the Magnificent 7, as they are called, has become a derogatory term these days. It seems like every time I listen to Wall Street analysts/pundits/investors on CNBC or Bloomberg or at investment conferences, they all talk about how "We need to look for names to own outside of the Mag 7..." It's like most people still can't appreciate just how Revolutionary and dominant and profitable these companies are, even after two full decades of these companies completely Revolutionizing the whole world, dominating the stock markets and their respective industries and generating unprecedented-in-the-history-of-mankind profits.
Realizing just how much continued (endless?) FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) there is around these stocks, makes me think the most contrarian trade these days (years, decades?) is to keep on owning these (the six of the seven Mag 7 stocks that we do own) stocks, just as we have for so darn long. We hit on two of our six Mag 7 stocks in Part 1 of the Latest Positions yesterday and we'll hit the other four, along with Transmedics and Pfizer today.
