Make sure you follow me on the Futr apps PLUS Trade Alert: Two trims

Sony’s up 60% since we were buying it in the teens last summer and 20% in the last couple weeks. If you haven’t trimmed any yet, it’s probably time to consider doing so. I’m going to trim about 10% of my Sony SNE common stock personally. We bought Sony when it’s chart looked horrible and added more to it when it was crashing. Now we trim into parabolic charts as it’s spiking.

Meanwhile, Ambarella AMBA is back to $75 a share, triple from where I was first buying it. I’ve trimmed it a couple times in the past but it was a large position to begin with and I want to just reduce my exposure to this still-very-young company, so I’m trimming about 15% of my common stock AMBA position there.

Intel’s up 5% after a not disastrous earnings report last night. Holding my INTC common stock steady there.

Yandex up 10% on no major news. Having just added that stock to the portfolio this week, it’s a classic example of sometimes it being better to be lucky than good.
