Bulls And Bears Dancing In NYC This Week

Bryce and I are hard at it in NYC this week meeting with many of my long-time friends and folks across the spectrum from other fund managers, brokers, and lawyers, to one of Google’s machine-learning gurus. We will be here all week and our schedule is packed with meetings with interesting folks so we will have lots to report on when we are back in the saddle next week.

And here’s a picture of me dancing next to “The Bear Dance” by William Holbrook Beard which we saw at the NY historical society. The picture symbolizes bears celebrating the market crashing in the Panic of 1873, before we had the Fed who would have undoubtedly foreseen and taken perfectly appropriate actions to prevent such a crisis (being sarcastic obviously haha).

Also, here’s an awesome picture of a welder working on a new skyscraper on 6th Avenue last night. Just amazing to me that every little weld that he is doing on that skyscraper is critically important and that without his individual craftsmanship, that building would not be safe for thousands of people to work in and walk around every day.
