Trade Alert: Nibbling more of this new name

I was in LA for a total of 24 hours, not including 8 hours of driving back and forth to the airport in El Paso and 8 hours of flight time. I got home last night around 12: 30am and my wife woke me up at 5am to take care of Amaris so she could get a couple hours of sleep.

I am going to do a trade here this morning, nibbling some more Impinj, $PI. I am adding about 1/3 of a full-size tranche, as the stock is a small cap with little liquidity here, having taken a big hit yesterday. We’re not investing in this stock for a short-term trade. We’re building this position because this company and its passive RFID platform has the potential to be a 5- or 10-bagger if they deliver and win the marketplace over the next five or ten years. If they fail, well, that’s the risk. Nothing new happened in the last two days other than the stock getting hit technically. I’ll buy another tranche in the next few days or weeks ahead if the stock gets hit again since the bears and shorts and TA folk are stirring around this one.
